Haven’t we all dreamed at some point in our lives of a place that
would be our little secret? Not necessarily a secret that only we know;
rather one that we keep dear to our hearts yet feel compelled to share.
A source of pride for ourselves that we yearn to introduce
to others, so to say.
Imagine if that secret were accessible only by boat. Sure, one might be
able to take a plane to get close to the secret, but it would take a boat

214, Dining in Dallas
Sometimes it’s hard to follow a motto. Not so at Central 214,
a classy new restaurant located in the new Hotel Palomar in Dallas’
upscale Park Cities neighborhood.
Their motto: Eat. Drink. Get Centered. Definitely words we can all live by.
Central 214’s name refers to its location off Central Expressway, a
main thoroughfare in Dallas, and 214, Dallas’ primary area code. The
eye-catching restaurant is the work
of Paul Draper, a renowned Dallas designer. The 116-seat dining room is spacious
and airy with a distinctly modern feel.
